Travel
Bristol, Vermont is a beautiful small town in central Vermont, but it isn’t the easiest place to get to. Here are some possible ways to get there:
By Plane — The closest airport is Burlington International Airport (BTV), just about 25 miles away. Boston Logan (BOS) and Montreal (YUL) are farther out but also possible options.
By Car — Driving/renting a car will probably be the easiest option. Bristol is a rural Vermont town, and having your own wheels will make everything — getting to the venue, exploring the area, grabbing a maple creemee — much easier.
By Train — Amtrak's Ethan Allen Express runs daily between New York Penn Station and Burlington, with a stop in Middlebury — only about 15 miles from Bristol. See the “Lodging” page for our hotel blocks in Middlebury. It's a scenic ride through the Hudson Valley and Green Mountains, and it’s probably the best way to avoid needing a car.
Once You're Here — Rideshare availability in rural Vermont is limited, so if you're not renting a car, we encourage you to connect with other guests to coordinate rides. Though we will provide transportation to and from Middlebury on the night of the wedding. Feel free to reach out to us and we'll do our best to help make connections!
